This is the unofficial Key West site, prepared by a human, not a tourist development council, chamber of commerce or government.

You came to this Key West site seeking information about paradise.  If you want inside stories, without the promotional hype, you came to the right place.  If you want the official views, there are a lot of other sites you probably should be visiting right now.

Don’t get me wrong.  Those sites are loaded with glowing reports about absolutely everything on or near this island city.

I tell you about the right places to stay.  Yes, they are expensive, but you probably already know that.

I tell you about a few wonderful restaurants, some with something other than seafood.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I tell you about a surprising amount of quality nightlife.  I mean, it’s not exactly what the place is famous for.

Sound good?  Maybe you would like to purchase a little real estate and spend a little more time in Key West.  OK, a lot more time.
