"Ambrosia Key West and Ambrosia Too!"

Ambrosia Key West and Ambrosia Too are located one block (or two half blocks, depending on how you want to count it) from Duval Street. That single block offers you close proximity to the social action but makes a world of difference in providing peace and quiet once you are ready to leave the Duval Street environment.

The properties operate as a single bed and breakfast (B&B) but actually are a compound of six restored buildings and three swimming pools. One of the pools is appropriately referred to as the dip pool. You won't be swimming laps in it.

You should be able to find what you want somewhere in this compound, since it offers a good variety of rooms and prices. Suites, townhouses and even a cottage are available. The place also is pet friendly, in case for some reason you choose to bring that loved one along.

Ambrosia Key West is the older section of the compound and provides fewer amenities than the newer section. What you get on the older side of the street is a room. Keep that in mind when you call to make your reservation.

Ambrosia Too is across the street. That is where you will enjoy your poolside breakfast amid the wrought iron poolside furniture and the lovely sculptures.

The theme of the setting (no surprise) is tropical, made even more so by the sound of parrots from Nancy's Secret Garden next door. In the afternoon you can find both sunny and shaded areas, whichever you prefer, by the pools.

The staff throughout the compound is friendly, and Ben is very good at helping you find and plan a delightful variety of activities during your stay.
