"Gina Wiseley and Fantasy Fest!"

Gina Wiseley had a great time at Fantasy Fest in Key West in 2001. It was a nice break for her and her husband, Kendall Wiseley, who were deputies in the Lee County, Florida, Sheriff's Office.

Someone with a video camera preserved a permanent record of her fun-filled activities as she followed the local custom of trading a performance for a bead necklace. She was at The Garden of Eden, a clothing optional bar.

Four years later, Gina and her husband had divorced and the video was sent anonymously to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, a Lee County commissioner and the local media.

She was charged with improper conduct unbecoming an officer and illegal conduct for public exposure. An internal investigation was conducted and Gina resigned.

After working at a Lowe's home improvement store as a loss prevention manager, she was hired in 2006 as a police officer by the Punta Gorda, Florida, Police Department.

Several months later, Detective Harvey Ayers alleged that Gina showed him the video on her personal computer while they were in a police car. An investigation ensued. Punta Gorda Police Chief Chuck Rinehart allowed Gina to resign or be terminated for disregarding orders not to discuss the investigation with Ayers. She refused to resign and her employment was terminated in 2007.
